{"id":1516,"date":"2019-06-19T16:14:14","date_gmt":"2019-06-19T14:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.crioac-lyon.fr\/?page_id=1516"},"modified":"2023-02-14T15:26:10","modified_gmt":"2023-02-14T14:26:10","slug":"rcp-du-crioac-lyon","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.crioac-lyon.fr\/en\/rcp-du-crioac-lyon\/","title":{"rendered":"Multidisciplinary team meetings at CRIOAc Lyon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"cri-emphasis\"><strong>&#8220;Multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings&#8221;<\/strong> are essential in the management of bone and joint infection (BJI), particularly BJIs characterised as &#8220;complex&#8221;.<\/div>\n<p>To facilite the organising and the <strong>recording of MDT meetings<\/strong>, the French Department of Healthcare has created a standard MDT meeting form and has set up a <strong>secure national website<\/strong> in order to document decisions. This database will bring together all the MDT meeting forms and will allow healthcare professionals to <strong>access the medical information of their patients, regardless of where they continue their treatment<\/strong>. All the data are centralised and computerised according to a procedure approved by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnil.fr\"><strong>Commission Nationale Informatique et Libert\u00e9s (CNIL)<\/strong><\/a> which guarantees confidentiality.<\/p>\n<div class=\"cf\">\n<div class=\"m-all t-6of12 d-6of12\">\n<p>Organising the <strong>MDT meetings<\/strong> is a <strong>committment of CRIOAc, <\/strong> and is one of their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crioac-lyon.fr\/missions\/\"><strong>missions<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A <strong>MDT meeting<\/strong> must include at least one practitioner representing <strong>Orthopaedic Surgery<\/strong>, one practitioner representing <strong>Infectiology<\/strong> and one practitioner representing <strong>Microbiology<\/strong>.<br \/>\nEach MDT meeting form will necessarily have to characterise the complexity of the BJI, to propose the <strong>medical-surgical strategy<\/strong> to be implemented and a hospital able to offer the necessary care.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"m-all t-6of12 d-6of12\">\n<div style=\"width: 550px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.crioac-lyon.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/RCP\/rcp_groupe.jpg\" alt=\"Participants d'une RCP au CRIOAc Lyon lors d'une journ\u00e9e d'h\u00f4pital de jour pluridisciplinaire\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Multidisciplinary day-hospital healthcare professionals attending a day-long MDT meeting at CRIOAc Lyon in 2017<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cri-emphasis attention\"><strong>Before each MDT meeting, patient characteristics and the description of the infection must first be entered into the secure national website by an authorised healthcare professional, who has requested access from the local administrator (Pr. T.
